Château Beychevelle
Château Beychevelle
Château Beychevelle is a prestigious wine estate located in the Médoc region, in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, France. With a history dating back to the 17th century, this château is renowned for producing wines of exceptional quality.
The vines at Château Beychevelle are planted on a privileged terroir of gravel and alluvial soils, giving the grapes great aromatic complexity. The main grape varieties used are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
The winemaking process at Château Beychevelle is meticulous. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted, so that only the best are kept. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, followed by ageing in French oak barrels for between 18 and 24 months.
