Dujac Estate

Domaine Dujac is a renowned winegrowing estate in Burgundy, France. It is particularly famous for its production of high-quality red and white wines made mainly from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Domaine Dujac was founded in 1967 by Jacques Seysses and his wife Rosalind. Originally from the Champagne region, the Seysses family quickly became an influential force in Burgundy thanks to their passion for precision viticulture and their commitment to quality. The domaine owns vineyards in various appellations in the Côte de Nuits, including Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée and others. Each of these appellations benefits from specific soils made up of limestone, marl and clay, which give the grapes their unique characteristics. The main grape variety grown is Pinot Noir for the red wines, and Chardonnay for the white wines. The vines are carefully tended and sustainably managed to preserve the health of the terroir, and Domaine Dujac is renowned for its commitment to quality, precision and purity of terroir. The grapes are harvested by hand, and meticulous attention is paid to every detail of the winemaking process to ensure that the wines fully express the character of each parcel. Vinification is carried out in the traditional way, with fermentation in wooden vats and careful maceration to extract the aromas and flavours of the grapes. The wines produced by Domaine Dujac are highly prized by Burgundy connoisseurs for their finesse, elegance and ageing potential. The red wines are characterised by aromas of red and black fruit, spices, floral notes and well-integrated oak ageing. The estate's white wines, made from Chardonnay, have aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus, minerals and refreshing acidity. Domaine Dujac also produces wines from several of Burgundy's great growths, which are among the most highly prized in the world. Domaine Dujac wines are considered to be the jewels of Burgundy and are sought after by collectors and wine lovers the world over.
