History of the House of Taittinger

Maison Taittinger was founded in 1734 by Jacques Fourneaux in Épernay, France. However, it was not until 1932, when Pierre Taittinger acquired the company, that it took the name Taittinger. Pierre was able to preserve the heritage while bringing his own vision, making the house a benchmark in the world of champagne.
